Hot Spots
Camiguin White IslandIt resides two (2) kilometers off the coast of Agoho, Mambajao and known to be Camiguin’s popular sand bar.Its said to be scary to go on the island because it sinks during high tide and only few would dare to go. There’s no shade around so you gotta put sunblock lotion. The blue water has rough sand in some portions so it’s better to use slippers.
Sunken Cemetery....
Looking back at the history it says that The whole capital of Camiguin with its cemetery sunk under the sea due to the volcanic eruption. In the following years, the sunken land and the gravestones can still be seen when the tide is low. But in 1948 until 1953, Mount Vulcan erupted again, sinking the whole area deeper, to around twenty feet. In 1982, a large cross was built on the solidified lava to mark the site that became the graves of the ancestors of the Camiguin people. Also known as a good diving site.
Ardent Hot Spring
Is located in Mambajao, an elevated part of Camiguin. It has 5different pools which vary in temperature and sizes. I tried the 39 degree celcius water with the hotness I couldn’t bare at first, you gotta stay few more minutes for your body to adjust, it feels like sauna!
It contains sulfur which could treat ailments.
Sto.Nino Cold Spring
This is one of the famous springs because of its coolness which was unbearable at first (for me).Its like in the other country.It highly cooperates with the green beauty of its surrounding that makes it more fascinating.I eat at an eatery nearby.I picked a live fish to be grilled and I enjoyed my lunch!
Tuasan Falls..
A perfect adventure is by going to this place.Located at a hidden place where u have to work for 20 mins with the help of the tourguide but tiresome will be diminished when you see this fantastic view in actual.Its very cold and refreshing,you cant afford not to try soaking on its crystal clear water.
